Rich Butt - Thank You Song
We recorded this in our Media Studio as a way to test out a new camera. The lights are Amaran LEDs, and the mic is Neil’s old Neumann U47. Rich played and sang the song a few times and we used the audio from one take, and edited a few different camera shots from separate takes. It would have been easier to edit if we’d set up multiple cameras, but this has turned out pretty well as a test of one camera in different places in the room ans multiople takes.
Geisiel Reis & Francis Appeadu-Mensah - Nyame Ye
King’s has become increasingly and intentionally more diverse over the past few years and this song was written by Geisiel, Francis and Rich in Portuguese, Twi and English. It celebrates the greatess of God across all nations.
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Sam and Rich had the idea to record this song with the kids from King’s playing and singing every note on it. To say this was a leraning curve for Sam and his video work is an understatement…but its turned out well!
El Shaddai
This is a simple lyric video for one of Rich’s songs recorded during a worship time in one of our Sunday morning meetings at King’s. Hopefully this shows how effective a straight forward video idea can be.
